She started by writing recaps of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.denverpioneers.com\/SportSelect.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=18600&amp;SPID=10862&amp;SPSID=90195\">Denver University<\/a> games, also covering games at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cctigers.com\/index.aspx?path=MHOCK\">Colorado College<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.goairforcefalcons.com\/sports\/m-hockey\/afa-m-hockey-body.html\">U.S. Air Force<\/a>. In 2007, in addition to writing recaps, she was hired as the Saturday night recap editor, editing game recaps from around the country according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apstylebook.com\/\">AP Style<\/a> and posting them. In 2010, USCHO appointed Candace as the D-III and Women&#8217;s editor, where she has been in charge of editing weekly columns on men&#8217;s D-III and women&#8217;s D-I and D-III hockey. Starting in the 2013-2014 season, Candace will be USCHO&#8217;s weekly columnist for the new <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nchchockey.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Collegiate Hockey Conference<\/a><\/strong>, and will also continue as the Women&#8217;s editor for D-I and D-III. She also continues to work as a recap editor, as well as write recaps of Denver, Colorado College, and Air Force games.
